Dear Sir

We hope that in accordance with our recent conversation you will be good enough to arrange for 24 of Mr Duncan Grant’s pictures to be photographed for the book of reproductions of his pictures which we wish to bring out in the Autumn.

We should be very grateful if you would let us have the photographs as soon as possible in order that we may send them to the block-makers.

We enclose a draft of the Agreement which we have drawn up between Mr Duncan Grant and ourselves: we should be grateful if you would forward it to Mr Grant and let us know in due course if he agrees to it.

Yours faithfully | THE HIGARTH[sic] PRESS | M.T[signature]
