Letter from Trekkie Brooker to Leonard Woolf (January 1931)

[[MS 2750/153/15]]

Near Midhurst.

January 1st.

Dear Mr Woolf.

I am sending the wrapper for 'Saturday Night' which I have done only half as big again as the final size instead of twice as usual.  I have done it smaller because this is rather more of a drawing than the other and I thought it would lose any quality it may have if it was done larger.

[There is a large handwritten tick in the centre of the above paragraph.]

I think it will reproduce better so.  The spine is twice the size as usual.

Yours sincerely | Trekkie Brooker. [signature]

P.S. I have drawn it in dark blue ink because I think that unless black ink is printed on expensive paper it looks thin & poor.
