Library:

University of Reading, Special Collections

James R. Wells, Managing Director, informs Leonard Woolf that he agrees to jointly publish a limited edition of A Room of One's Own, and will deliver the copies. He informs Woolf that the designer wishes to use the imprint "New York: The Fountain Press London: The Hogarth Press 1929". Wells plans to include Leonard and Virginia Woolf in the colophon, and requests that the publication date can be moved back to October 11; he asks if the royalty will serve as a contract.
