Letter from Leonard Woolf to William Plomer (06/05/1931)

Library:

University of Reading, Special Collections

Archival Folder:

Leonard Woolf informs William Plomer that the Woolfs highly enjoyed Sado and believe it is much more even than Plomer's previous works, and the only criticism is that it feels like a fragment of a larger work. Woolf asks to meet Plomer on Friday, and states the Hogarth Press could offer a royalty of 10% on 1000 copies, 15% on 2000-4000, and 20% above 4000, and could publish in autumn.

Typescript letter signed by Leonard Woolf.
