Letter from Julia Strachey to The Hogarth Press (28/12/1944)

University of Reading, Special Collections

Julia Strachey informs the Hogarth Press that in reference to their December 7th letter, she has asked the bank for the €2.7.1 check, but they have no notice of it. She states she has likely cashed in the cheque and apologies if it turns out that she has lost the check. She fears the only way to find out might be through the Press' records. Additional note states she doesn't remember cashing the cheque in but says she likely did so.

Handwritten letter signed by Julia Tomlin [married name]
