The Hogarth Press thanks Julia Strachey for holding onto the old check, and has enclosed a replacement check. The Press has her receipt for their royalty payment this year at a total of 2 pounds, 7 shillings, 1 penny, but the check hasn't been put through the bank. The Press hopes Strachey can present the check.
