Leonard Woolf encloses the manuscript of the book, and requests estimates for the printing and binding of copies. Woolf instructs on style and format, and also the final page numbering. He provides a planned publishing date, andrequests a date for completed copies. Woolf mentions Forster being pressed by the American publishers for the corrected proofs needed for the American edition.
