Dear Mr Woolf,

 

Thanks for your letter. I am glad to hear that you feel O Providence is improved. Your own encouragement has helped me tremendously.

 

My new book has begun to 'feel' right.  So far, it carries the ugly title "Third class return". I should think O Providence stands a fair chance of success, though of course the critics may batter it.
