Letter from Leonard Woolf to Viola Tree (22/10/1925)

Library:

University of Reading, Special Collections

Leonard Woolf informs Viola Tree that he is glad she allows the Press to publish her book and that it is up to Tree to decide if she wants to deal with the Press herself or through an agent, as there is no advantage to having the Press as an agent. Woolf adds that the agent is there to prevent the Press from swindling her. Finally, Woolf states that if Tree accepts the terms. the Press will send a draft agreement to either her or Curtis Brown Ltd if she wishes so. Woolf asks which option Tree prefers.

Typescript letter signed by Leonard Woolf.
