Dear Mr. Brace,

With reference to your letter of August 15th, we expected to get proofs of Mrs. Woolf’s essays before this but printers are again taking an inordinate time to do anything. It looks as if early September will be the best date for proofs which we can expect. I am sorry for the delay.
