Dear Sirs,

For the attention of Mr. Woolf.

We are very much obliged for your order for Mrs. Woolf's book “Three Guineas,” and have pleasure in advising you that galley proofs will be completed on or before February 25th.

We confirm our telephone conversation with you this morning to the effect that normal house style is to be followed as regards to the use of quotations, the spacing of quotes and other punctuation, and words ending in “ize”. Further, that you have instructed us to set the book in 10/1( point with extracts set in 10 point solid and indented; lower case initials to be used in preference to caps. In all normal cases, and that numbers over twelve are to be set in figures and not to be spelt out.

This appears to cover all the points in query, and we are proceeding with the composition.

Yours faithfully, | The Garden City Press LTD. | R. A. Warner [signature]
