Dear Mr. Bott,

I am enclosing two sets of uncorrected page proofs of Fireman Flower by William Sansom and A Haunted House by Virginia Woolf. The first of these books contains a collection of stories of unusual imaginative power by a young writer who has hitherto only appeared in magazines; it will be published in December or January. The second contains all the short stories that the <late> Mrs. Woolf wrote, with the exception of one or two originally published in Monday or Tuesday which she did not wish to see printed again. It includes several which were only published in American magazines, and others which only existed in manuscript form at her death. It will be published in December or January.

Yours sincerely,
