13th Aug. 1924

Dear Woolf,

1 I return the agreement duly signed. 2 We should like either P.V. 012 or P.V.A. 452 for binding.

you as Secretary of the advisory Committee invest your advice to read the book with so great authority and persuasiveness that it will be done? 4 I hope that by this time you have got another letter of mine from my brother.

5. Can you lend me a pamphlet with instructions on proof correcting? Or does each printer have his own code? If so would Clark send me his and will you ask him to?

N. Leys [signature]

Norman Leys returns an interim agreement and makes a decision on the type of binding he likes. He is also anxious that certain Labour and Liberal MP's should read the statements that he has made before they visit Africa. He asks Woolf for a pamphlet with instructions on proof correcting.
