THE ECONOMIC CONSEQUENCES OF MR. CHURCHILL.
I am extremely sorry that owing to an error on my part your name was included on my 'authors' remainder list'. As a matter of fact we have 750 soiled copies of the above book, which were in the first instance returned from Messrs. W. H. Smith from their 'on sale' copies, and we have resold all that were in a fit state to sell, but this 750 are so badly soiled that they cannot be sold in the ordinary way. We propose, therefore, to sell them to a remainder agent with your approval. This will leave us with a balance of [*600*] copies.

Yours faithfully, | The Hogarth Press. | Secretary.
