Dear Sirs,

WOOLF: ON BEING ILL

With reference to your A/HC/JD of 11 September, we shall be obliged if you will put the work in hand in accordance with your estimate 6536 for reproducing the jacket by lithography. We return the original copy. The artist has had to enlarge it slightly and thus may cause some variation in your estimate. The artist has given samples of the exact shades of colour to be used on the back of the copy and would like, if possible, to see samples of ink proposed.

We shall be obliged if you will let us know when we may expect proofs and completed copies.

Yours faithfully | Leonard Woolf | [signature]
