Dear Sirs,

 

V. WOOLF: THE WAVES

 

We enclose MS [Manuscript] of this book and shall be obliged if you will give us an estimate for printing as follows:x

 

Printing 7000 copies Cr. 8vo [Crown Octavo] on paper to be supplied to us in Baskerville O.S. 12 pt set solid. 30 lines in the page excluding heading; length of line 20 ems. Headings in small caps.

 

Printing 7000 jackets in two colours and making blocks on paper to be supplied by you similar to that used for ALL PASSION SPENT[.]

 

Five sets of first proofs will be required.

 

We are anxious to get this book printed as early as possible, as it has got rather late for travelling. Could you therefore let us know the earliest date at which you could supply proofs and deliver sheets after the proofs are finally passed for press?
