In reply to your letter of April 14th. we should be glad to give you permission to reproduce the passage from Mrs. Dalloway mentioned in your letter in a Manual of French Translation and Composition­ to be published by the Clarendon Press, subject of course, to the usual acknowledgement to Mrs. Virginia Woolf as author and to ourselves as publishers.
