Dear Sir,

 

Thank you for your letter of November 22 asking for permission to quote the passage mentioned from chapter XIII of ‘Jacob’s Room’. We are pleased to give our permission for this quotation, the fee for which would be one guinea. We should be glad if you would make the usual acknowledgments.

 

With regard to your second letter asking permission to quote from ‘The Edwardians’, anthology rights in this book are handled by the Author and we have passed your enquiry on to her.
