Dear Mr. Koteliansky,

 

We are considering the possibility of reprinting THE GENTLEMAN FROM SAN FRANCISCO, but before going any further [we] would be glad if you would confirm that you have not made any other arrangements for this book. We should, of course, be paying you the same royalty as before, name [sic] 10%.

Burch asks that Koteliansky has made no other arrangements to reprint The Gentleman from San Francisco before they proceed with a reprint. They inform that they will pay him a royalty of 10%
