Letter from William Aspenwall Bradley to Margaret West (02/03/1934)

University of Reading, Special Collections

William Bradley writes on behalf of Messers Martin Secker and Ivan Bunin. Bradley questions why they are reprinting The Gentleman from San Francisco when it is already available in England (through messers Martin Secker) Bradley states that he has been informed by Bunin that the Hogarth Press brought out their first edition without any permission from Bunin, who has since only accepted a £5 fee and has therefore questioned how there is a reprint with no agreement in place. Bradley asks for an explanation.
