[* write to [illeg.] letter to Herbig*]
My dear Leonard,
I'm afraid I haven't got a copy of Turbott Wolfe here. My only copy is in storage, & even if it were getatable I shouldn't be willing to send it to the land of Racial Purity, where no doubt it would be in some danger of
being used as fuel for a feu de joie.
I had a letter from your secretary yesterday asking for Laurens ven der Post's address. He is in London - c/o Argus S.A. Newspapers Ltd., 72-78 Fleet St., EC4.
If you & Virginia are
likely to be at Rodmell in the near future I should be very happy to see you here, but I shan't be able to introduce you to the Negus, who is staying in Brighton, as I haven't the pleasure of knowing him.
Love from | William
