October 8th 1926.

Dear Madam,

WILLIAM PLOMER. TURBOTT WOLFE.

In reply to your letter of September 28th, we must apologise for our mistake.

We are prepared to give the German serial rights on the condition that we receive 33 and one third per cent of anything obtained from the sale of those rights. On this understanding we would be willing to give you a six months' option.

Yours faithfully | THE HOGARTH PRESS | Manager
