With reference to your letter of 10/8/23 to Mrs Joad we enclose a letter from Mr Duncan Grant giving us permission to use his picture - THE LEMON GATHERERS.

 

We should be grateful if you would inform Mrs Joad, 4 The Gables Hampstead N W 3, as to whether you have a photograph of the picture; and if not give her permission to have a photograph taken.
