Dear Sirs,

VIRGINIA WOOLF: TOTH THE LIGHTHOUSE

We enclose MS of this book and shall be obliged if you will give us an estimate as follows:

Printing 3000 copies in type, style, and on paper similar to that for MRS DALLOWAY, except that headings should be in small caps and not between rules, and right hand headings should be the section headings. Binding 2000 copies in style similar to THE RIVER FLOWS, with stained top edge. Jacket to be printed in two colours from design similar to that for MRS DALLOWAY which we will send you later.

As the American publisher is anxious to have proofs from us immediately, we should be obliged if you will begin to set without waiting for our approval of the estimate, and will inform us when you will be able to let us have complete proofs. Please note to send six copies of proofs.

Yours faithfully | THE HOGARTH PRESS
