Mme. Lucy Aghion,
20, rue Fouad,
Alexandria,
EGYPT.

November 21st. 1935.

Dear Madam,

In reply to your letter enclosing a French translation of the first chapter of The Waves, I have to say that this book is being published in France by the Librairie Stock, and that I believe they have already had it translated. There would, however, be no harm in your communicating with them and enquiring if they have arranged for the translator. Their address is-

Librairie Stock,
7, rue du Vieux-Colombier 6e,
Paris, FRANCE.

Yours faithfully, | THE HOGARTH PRESS. | MANAGER.
