We thank you for your letter of Jan[uary].5th. We shall be pleased to give the Czech rights in this book to your client for a royalty of 7% with an advance of £20 (Twenty Pounds) payable on the signature of the agreement.  We are glad to think that readers in Czecho-Slovakia will now have an opportunity of appreciating this book in their own tongue.  If you will draw up the agreement and send it to us, we will have it signed as soon as possible.
