11th October, 1943.

Dear Mr. Lehmann,

I was rather perturbed to receive your letter of the 8th October addressed to Mr. Price stating that Mr. Forster's "The Return from Siwa" had been reprinted in Citadel for August 1943, as we naturally seek permission for such reprints in every case.

I shall make enquiries at once, but this may take a week or two, and I should be grateful if you and Mr. Forster would wait until I am in a position to elucidate the matter.

Yours sincerely, | [*p.p. M. Fernald*] | (Mrs. M.Fernald) | gmk[?] *1  [signature]
