Dear Sirs,
I am making a Travel Anthology to be published this autumn by George Bell and Son,and I should like to include in it passages from two books published by you.
L.WOOLF.Essays on Literature,Politics,etc. [*X*]
"The real Spain consists of all the land between the Pyrenees and Portugal..." to "...their bullock carts." about 450 words'
E.M.FORSTER:Pharos and Pharillon. [*X*]
Alexandria. "Of the three streets that dispute the honour..." to "...of more permanent interest." A few lines omitted in the first paragraph, making about 500 words.
I should be most grateful for your permission, and due acknowledgement would of course be made to you in a foreword. Would you please tell me in your reply what the copyright charges would be; and whether in case of a separate American edition there would be extra charges?
Yours truly, | Paul Bloomfield [signature]
