In reply to your letter of May 3rd, we shall be glad to give permission to Dr. Charles Swain Thomas of Harvard University to use about 70 words from the above book, to be sold in Canada as well as U.S.A., on payment of a fee of one guinea, providing the usual acknowledgements are made.

On the back of this letter The Hogarth Press grants permission to use an excerpt from A Room of One's Own for a fee.
