29th Nov. 1924

Dear Woolf,

On Tuesday morning you will receive from an uncle of mine in Glasgow - a real uncle not a pawnbroker - a cheque for a sum which together with the enclosed will bring my payment to you to £10 more than the sum you mentioned. When you get the cheque please send me a receipt - for income tax purposes - for the total sum I have paid you. I am sorry

sorry to be a day late and hope you will not be inconvenienced.

A friend whom I consider reliable says that a paper called 'Public Opinion' is much read by people with from £200 to £500 a year who cannot afford to buy books but wish to keep informed of new facts and movements, and who sometimes get books on loan from libraries. He thinks you ought to send that paper a copy for review.

Yours | Norma Leys [signature]
