Letter from Leonard Woolf to The Fountain Press (10/08/1929)

Library:

University of Reading, Special Collections

Leonard Woolf informs James R. Wells that if they agree on limited edition publication, Woolf suggests the editions should have the imprint "Published in the United States of America by the Fountain Press and in Great Britain by Leonard & Virginia Woolf at the Hogarth Press, London." Woolf also informs Wells that the former prefers to publish the ordinary edition of A Room of One's Own in England about 10-14 days after its limited edition publication in the States, and asks if Wells agrees to Harcourt, Brace and Company publishing at the same time.
