Dear Sir,

 

I have heard from Mr Belgion of Messrs Harcourt, Brace & Company that you would like to translate TURBOTT WOLFE by Mr Plomer into French and that you could place it with the Nouvelle Revue Française. The French rights are still available and I should be glad to dispose of them. We should ask a royalty of 10% on the published price of all copies sold and 50% of anything obtained by the sale of the serial rights. If you would care to proceed with the translation, could you translate a specimen page of the book and let me see it?
