Dear Francis,
We have all read your letter and like it very much and we want to publish it. Therterms [sic] we offer are a royalty of 10% on the first 3,000 copies and 15% above that number with an advance on account of royalties of £12. We should publish next season. If you agree to these terms I will have an agreement sent to you for your signature. Would you call the letter simply "A letter to Cousin John" and if so, on something? and if so, what?
Yours
