Thank you for your letter of the 21st. I am, of course, very pleased to hear that you will need more copies of The Death of the Moth, and note that the order has been increased to 6,000 in all.
I am glad you have been able to settle the various difficulties about prelims and chapter headings with The Garden City Press direct. Incidentally I have just heard that in going through the markings made by you in the text they have found one or two word alterations. I am puzzled to know by what authority or with what intention these were made. We cannot allow them to stand, unless they were actual misprints.
