C. V. Hancock, Esq.,
The Birmingham Post,
88 Fleet Street,
London, E.C.4.
March 9th, 1951.
Dear, Mr. Hancock,
1.
I know that literary editors as a rule don't nowadays feel able[?] to spare much of their restricted reviewing space to notice reprints, but it's so many years since Leonard Woolf's "The Village in the Jungle" was in print, and the book itself is such a remarkable one, that I'm sure you won't mind my sending you a review copy in the hope that you will be able to do something about it. Certainly it will be a 'new' book to a whole generation of your readers and many others will, I feel sure, be glad to know that it is now once more available.
With all good wishes, | Yours sincerely,
