My dear Woolf,

 

Many thanks for the proof which I return herein with the few corrections. I like the book very much, but agree with you in thinking the label might be improved. Pale yellow paper without that little meaningless & rather trivial frame – ruling would be better.

 

But I leave it to you. I <should>[?] want to see another proof.

It is odd that compositors should always spell my name wrong!
