Virginia Woolf

Woolf's pamphlet set out to answer three questions from three different activist societies. The pamphlet therefore explores the possibilities of achieving peace and preventing war, ascertaining professional rights for women, and improving the standards of women's education. Formally, Three Guineas takes on the structure of Woolf's responses to letters, and the epistolary format has received a fair amount of critical attention.
