Dear Mr Barker,
Many thanks for your letter AB*1/GM of Dec.8th. I will let you have a complete list of our spring publications shortly. Meanwhile I am sending you in proof two books that we shall publish early in the spring, THE SENSITIVE ONE by C.H.B.Kitchin, and SATURDAY NIGHT AT THE GREYHOUND by John Hampson. Mr. Kitchin is the author of DEATH OF MY AUNT and other books that we have published, and we shall probably publish this at 6/-
Mr. Hampson is an entirely new writer, a young man of whom my wife and I think extremely highly,. [sic] We have accepted the book I enclose and we shall also publish later in about a year's time, another novel of his. He is a very curious person, and in many ways I think, a remarkable writer.
Yours sincerely,
