Quentin Bell writes to Norah Smallwood and encloses a copy of a letter from Béatrix Vernet (Éditions Seghers) to Bell dated 19 Apr 1971 in which Vernet asks Bell to contact The Hogarth Press on their behalf regarding French translation rights for selected Virginia Woolf essays, since Vernet wrote to The Hogarth press on 1 Apr 1971 and have received no response.
